3/26 Green tour

Today I went to Selime monastery and  Derinkuyu Underground City.

This is called Green tour.
(fee is 120TL including transfer, guide , entrance fee of museum and lunch)




Derinkuyu Underground City  is very mysterious.
I can't go any ways without guide.

3/25 Hot air balloon

I got on hot air balloon at Göreme.
It was a so nice view.
(fee is 280 TL ≒ 120euro)
Hot air balloon is calm and safe.
I recommend this tour.


Next I went around to see fairy chimneys.





This is called camel.



This is called Napoleon.



It is called sea lion.



This is called three sister.

3/23 Göreme Cappadocia

Göreme  has many fairy chimneys. 
It is a strange sight.
We can see this sight from hot air ballon.










 

3/22 Pamukkale

Today I came to Pamukkale which is remain of ancient Rome.
(entry fee is 25 Turkish lira)
There are some hot springs.
We can see fine view.
The city contains travertines, terraces of carbonate minerals left by the flowing water.
It is marvelous.
Generally speaking, it is comfortable at remain of ancient Rome.
They were excellent architect indeed.

Then I went to Göreme, Cappadocia by night bus.

3/21 Ephesus

Today I came to Ephesus which is remain of ancient Rome.
(entry fee is 30 Turkish lira)

There are so many people form all over the world.
This is nice place to visit.



This is a statue of artemis in Ephesus Museum.
It is beautiful.

Then I went to Denizli where is near Pamukkale by METRO bus.
It cost 30 Turkish lira.

3/20 Bergama(Pergamon) Acropolis Asklepion

Today I came to Acropolis.(entry fee is 25 turkish lira)
Acropolis is top of mountain in Bergama.
We can go to the top by ropeway.(12 turkish lira)
The great altar of Pergamon is displayed at Pergamon museum in Berlin.
There are nothing but a trees at the actual place.




Next I went Asklepion which is ancient sanatorium.
Their symbol is snake because it molt.
Molt means reborn.

Then I went to Selçuk where is near Ephesus by METRO bus.
I had to change bus at Izmir on the way to Selçuk.

 

3/19 Troy→Bergama

 

 

Today I came to Troy.(entry fee is 20 turkish lira)

There is Trojan Horse which we can get in.

There are remains. Almost are collapsed.

There are many tourists.

Most of excavated articles are exhibited at Istanbul Archaeology Museum.

Treasures were brought to Russia through Germany.

 

 

 

Then I moved to Bergama from Çanakkale by METRO bus.

METRO is naition wide bus company.

There is bus from Çanakkale to Izmir.

It should be noted that the bus don't stop at otogar of Bergama.

The bus stops on the road near otogar of Bergama.

There are no houses around there.

I don't know where I am at first.

The bus start at 1:45pm from Çanakkale and get to Bergama at 6:30pm.

It is almost dark.

You should go to otgar of Bergama as soon as possible after getting of the bus, or you get lost.

Turkish people almost can't speak English even the bus crews.
